Hash is priced higher per gram than flower, and that puts a lot of people off before they do the sums. It should not, because hash is concentrated, so the gram is not the right unit to compare in the first place.

How the hash tiers actually price up

As with flower, the tier jump beats any promo code. Moving from 3.5g to 28g on a traditional hash cuts the per-gram cost by nearly 40%.
Why hash is cheaper than the per-gram price suggests
This is the bit that changes the maths. Our flower runs roughly 13% to 21% CBD. Our hash runs roughly 28% to 38%. That is very roughly double the concentration by weight.
So a gram of hash does not compare to a gram of flower. It compares to about two. Look at it that way and hash at £4.28 a gram is competing with flower at around £2.14 a gram, which is below our cheapest bulk flower tier.
The catch is that hash is less forgiving. It needs breaking down, some grades want warming first, and the oily full-melt styles will clog a dry-herb vaporiser. What good value hash looks like
Price alone tells you very little with hash, because production method drives cost more than quality does. Dry sift, ice water and rosin all cost different amounts to make and all produce excellent results.
What you should insist on at any price:
- A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis, showing total CBD and THC under the limit, and residual solvent testing if a solvent method was used
- A named production method, not just a vague style name
- Named genetics, so you know what the terpene profile should be
- A texture that matches the description: pliable when warmed, not chalky or dusty
