Most CBD flower "deals" in the UK are not deals. They are a percentage knocked off an inflated list price, or a bundle of whatever the retailer could not shift. So rather than shout about discounts, this guide does something more useful: it shows you how per-gram pricing actually works, so you can judge any offer on any site, including ours.

Why £50 specifically? Because it is roughly where the maths starts working in your favour anyway. Which brings us to the actual point of this article.
The only number that matters: cost per gram
CBD flower is sold in tiers, and the tiers are not linear. Here is what our range looks like at the time of writing:
- 3.5g from £14.99, so roughly £4.28 per gram at the entry tier
- 7g from £24.99, roughly £3.57 per gram
- 14g from £44.99, roughly £3.21 per gram
- 28g from £79.99, roughly £2.86 per gram
- 100g at £320, roughly £3.20 per gram, and the bulk option for people buying for the long term
The jump from 3.5g to 28g cuts the per-gram cost by about a third. That is a far bigger saving than any percentage-off code you are likely to be offered, and it is available every day without a promotion.
So the genuinely optimal order, if you already know which strain you like, is a larger size of that strain rather than several small jars of different ones. The £50 threshold is comfortably cleared by a single 28g, or by a 14g plus a 3.5g.
When bulk is a false economy
Buying big is only cheaper if you actually use it before it degrades, and this is where people lose money without noticing.
Terpenes are volatile. They evaporate with heat, light, air and time, and they are most of what you notice when you open a jar. A 28g stored badly for six months is not a bargain, it is an expensive jar of hay. The rule of thumb: buy the largest size you will get through in about three months, not the largest size you can afford.
Three false economies to avoid
- Chasing the highest CBD percentage. A well-cured 15% flower beats a rushed 21% on aroma and smoothness every time. You are paying for a number that does not describe what you will experience. See CBD flower strength explained.
- Buying shake without knowing. Very cheap flower is often shake or smalls, the broken fragments from the bottom of the bag. That is completely legitimate and can be excellent value, as long as it is sold as what it is and priced accordingly.
- Buying five different 3.5g jars. Fun, and the most expensive possible way to fill a tin. Sample two, then buy the one you liked in size.

What should never be discounted
One thing worth saying plainly. A deal is only a deal if the product is compliant and documented. Whatever you are paying, you should still get:
- A batch-specific Certificate of Analysis, not a generic brand PDF
- THC under the 0.2% threshold, stated and evidenced
- EU-certified hemp and a named strain
- No medical claims anywhere
